He stood in our living room, which is very "live" - you practically get echos. We threw down a couple of carpets to try and block that a little. We used two C414s in "mid side" configuration, and on SM7b on the other side to try and catch the drones - all mics were over 10' from the pipes. I think next time we'll have some be closer. We used an API 3124+ preamp. |
