Here's a cover of Antonio Carlos Jobim's "Girl From Ipanema", performed by Bethany, Sophie, and me. We tracked it a couple of months ago, but I've been picking at it since then. None of us can really sing -- Sophie's voice is the only one that isn't assisted by software to be on pitch. I think Bethany's voice is very good -- she just needs pitch training so we can ditch the software. Admittedly, this isn't the easiest song to sing, because of all the key changes.

here's the mp3
Bethany and I sang through an Oktavamod FDPE MK-319, and Sophie sang through an AKG C414B-ULS. Sophie and I recorded all the percussion with the C414, also. For the preamp, we almost exclusively used the ART Digital MPA, clocked with the MOTU Traveler using a Black Lion Audio Microclock, and the bass and guitar (red Antoniostai with P-94s - neck pickup, volume rolled slightly back) are DI into it as well. The piano and most of the drums (as opposed to the percussion) are Logic software instruments.
