He wrote everything, and played/sang everything. I played a minor engineer
role, helping him get an accordion sample bank (we used the limited range demo, which suited him fine,
because he only needed a few notes) and placing the mics, etc. For the
acoustic (his Art & Lutherie ami wild cherry), we used our standard technique of two SM-81's up close in a stereo
XY config, and this time we used a Naiant MSH-1o omni for the ambience track. He sang through
an Oktavamod MK-319 FDPE.
Not to be outdone, sister Sophie layed down a music *video*:
Wow, Josiah is very creative and musically mature.
And Sophie is the cutest. baby. ever.

[beaming] thanks! With Josiah, I'm like, "an accordion?" -- I guess the Decemberists use one, and that's one of his favorite bands.

Sophie is adorable - wish I could hold her! I didn't have my sound on at work, so I'll have to check out Josiah's playing when I get home. Very cool that he is so interested & talented in music like his daddy.

Impressive! We need some photos of him in the studio recording. A small video maybe?
